Atletico Madrid scraped past Bayer Leverkusen at the Vincente Calderon to make it into the Champions League quarter-finals. Just like the first leg, it was a tight affair played between two teams that revolve their play around intense pressing and quick transitions.

In the second match of the 2015 Major League Soccer campaign, Columbus Crew beat Eastern Conference rival Toronto 2-0 on Saturday night.
Chelsea – Paris Saint-Germain 2:2 (aet)
It was unlikely that this year’s edition of Chelsea-PSG in the Champions league would top last year’s in terms of drama, but it certainly did and was an interesting match tactically too.
Wolfsburg – Inter Milan 3:1
Especially whilst Schurrle was on the pitch, rotations between the ‘3’ of Wolfsburg’s 4-2-3-1 were common. The most frequent rotation in this aspect was between Kevin De Bruyne and Andre Schurrle which happened commonly when the Wolves had possession.
Manchester United – Arsenal 1:2
Arsene Wenger left Manchester with a deserved victory to progress into the semi-final of the FA cup, following a strong performance against a poor opposition in Manchester United.
Barcelona – Rayo Vallecano 6:1
Rayo Vallecano displayed their aggressive pressing and brave football at the Nou Camp vs. the now top team in Spain. Barcelona’s players look in top form and managed to jump over Real Madrid for the 1st spot in La Liga.
Toulouse – Marseille 1:6
With Olympique Marseille’s recent drop in form, rumours about Bielsa’s future and players (Doria) speaking out publicly against the manager, it looked like L’OM’s title hopes were over. 1-6 was probably a flattering scoreline, but an encouraging one nonetheless.
Borussia Dortmund – Schalke 3:0
Borussia Dortmund bounced back from their midweek loss to Juventus to extend their Bundesliga winning run to four matches with a complete domination of a defensive Schalke side in the Ruhr derby.
Bayern Munich – 1. FC Cologne 4:1
Another win for Bayern who are coming back in top form just at the right time. A great game by Bayern tactically and technically as they destroy 1. FC Cologne at the beginning of the game.
